What is the dress code for church?
Come dressed however makes you comfortable. Most of us don’t dress all fancy.
Is Sardis.Church affiliated with a larger denomination?
We are one of over 175,000 Seventh-day Adventist churches where over 21,000,000 people worship each week. You will find Adventists in at least 212/235 countries and territories of the world. In 2023 over 1.4 million people joined an Adventist Church. (2023 stats)
What does Sardis.Church teach?
We are a Protestant church that practices Sola Scriptura A comprehensive outline of Adventist teachings and scriptural interpretations can be found here.
Why do you worship on Saturday?
God rested on the 7th day Sabbath at Creation. The 10 Commandments tell us to “Remember the Sabboth Day”. Throughout his life Jesus worshipped on the Sabbath day, and in death, rested in the grave over the Sabbath hours. Paul and the other apostles all keep the 7th day Sabbath. Join us and experience the wonderful difference the Sabbath can make in your life.
Do you support Christian education?
Sardis.Church supports Fraser Valley Adventist Academy (K-12), Chilliwack Adventist Christian School (K-7), West Coast Adventist School (K-12 online) and Burman University. These schools are part of a global school system promoting mental, physical and spiritual growth for our youth.
How can I join Sardis.Church?
Joining our faith community is easy. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come worship or study with no prerequisites or obligations.

* If you are already baptized, you can join Sardis.Church through a simple declaration of faith.
* If you already hold membership in another local Adventist Church, you can request a membership transfer.
